Local nonprofits Sycamore Creek United Methodist Church, Peppermint Creek Theatre Company (PCTC), and Ixion Ensemble Theatre have partnered to bring a new first-of-its-kind sanctuary for worship, performing arts center, and entrepreneurial community kitchen to mid-Michigan: Stage One.
Friday, September 29 at 7 p.m. – Broadway Bash

- Evening Events:
- 7 p.m. – Catered dinner and drinks from Soup Spoon Cafe
- 8 p.m. – Performance by Blaine Krauss, Broadway’s newest star recently performing on tour in “Hamilton”.
- Blaine Krauss’ Bio: BroadwayWorld says Blaine Alden Krauss is “…a man whose star has been on the rise with substantial speed, and with each appearance, the reasons for his ascent become more and more apparent.” A native of Tampa Bay, Fl, Krauss just finished starring in the national tour of “Hamilton” with engagements playing both Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. He was thrilled to be part of the second season of “Pose” while appearing in “The Cher Show”on Broadway. Prior to that he was seen understudying Lola’ in “Kinky Boots” shortly after making his Broadway debut in the hit “Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812.” Select credits include: Simba in “The Lion King” Nat’l Tour, Benny in “In The Heights” at TUTS and the Radio City Rockette Spring Spectacular under the direction of acclaimed choreographer Mia Michaels. Blaine regularly performs with symphonies around the globe as an artist with Scott Coulters Spot-ON Entertainment and is a regular performer at Feinstein’s/54 Below where he debuted his NYC Bistro Award Winning solo show, ‘From the Soul.’ His talents led him in 2011 to be a feature performer for the largest Commemoration of 9/11 outside of the U.S at the Trocadero in Paris, France. He is a 2010 Presidential Scholar in the Arts chosen as 1 of 20 by the White House and Presidential Scholar Commission. This venture led to having met President Obama and concluded with a performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. “Am I going to see him perform live, or am I going to pay the rent? Saturday, September 30 at 7 p.m. – Red Carpet Black Tie Gala

- 7 p.m. – Drinks & Hors d’oeuvres
- 8 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting and Musical Performances by Lansing’s Best and Brightest – including Ian Broughton, Rachel Daugherty, Amanda DeKatch, John Dillingham, Tim Gates, Leah Gerstel, Tigiste Habtemariam, Ben Hall, AnnaMaria Horn, Mary Hunter, Lucy James, Jeremy Kratky, Matt Penniman, Sally Potter, Isa Rodriguez, Luke Rohlfs, Jayna Schmid, Jen Sygit and Nate Tykocki.
