The Old Man and the Old Moon

Embark on an epic high-seas adventure with The Old Man and the Old Moon, a luminous play with music that breathes life into the tall tales of a man tasked with filling the moon with liquid light. When his wife disappears in search of a mysterious melody, the Old Man must abandon his duty and navigate a world of shifting shadows and seafaring wonder to find her.

This whimsical production explores the vital issues of aging, the weight of memory, and the enduring power of human connection. Through imaginative puppetry and a soulful indie-folk score, it raises awareness of how we define our purpose when the foundations of our lives begin to change. While the spectacle is undeniably entertaining, the heart of the story encourages a dialogue about loyalty and the lengths we go to for the ones we love. Join us for a transformative evening that reminds us that even in the darkest nights, we are never truly lost.
