Ransacking Troy by Erin Shields
Directed by Emily Clark
Production Dates: September 11–13 & 17–20, 2026
Audition Dates:
June 14 & 15, 2026

Step into the ancient past to confront the striking parallels of our present in Erin Shields’ Ransacking Troy, a visceral reimagining of the Trojan War told through the eyes of the women typically silenced by history. This isn’t the myth you remember; it is a sharp, modern interrogation of the collateral damage caused by ego and the cyclical nature of systemic violence. This production transforms a classic epic into a catalyst for dialogue about power, gender, and the human cost of conflict. Patrons will find themselves captivated by a narrative that is as breathtakingly theatrical as it is socially urgent. By amplifying these sidelined voices, the play challenges us to look closely at our own society and the stories we choose to tell. Prepare for an evening of theatre that entertains with its wit while demanding we acknowledge the “vital issues” woven into our global heritage.

Witch by Jen Silverman
Directed by Sally Hecksel
Production Dates:November 6–8 & 12–15, 2026
Audition Dates: September 13 & 14, 2026

In a quiet village where everything has its price, a charming devil arrives to offer the residents their deepest desires in exchange for their souls—but he meets his match in the local outcast. Jen Silverman’s Witch is a sharp-witted, contemporary transformation of a Jacobean drama that feels startlingly relevant to our modern world. This production serves as a provocative lens to address vital issues such as societal labels, power dynamics, and what it truly means to be “difficult” in a world demanding conformity. It is an exquisite blend of dark comedy and high-stakes drama that entertains while forcing us to question the value of our own integrity. As the characters bargain for their futures, the play encourages a deep dialogue about the marginalized voices we often choose to ignore. Prepare for a theatrical experience that is as enchanting as it is intellectually fearless.

The Old Man and the Old Moon Book, Music, and Lyrics by PigPen Theatre Co.
Directed by: James Curtis
Production Dates: February 19–21 & 25–28, 2027

When his wife disappears in search of a mysterious melody, the Old Man must abandon his duty and navigate a world of shifting shadows and seafaring wonder to find her. This whimsical production explores the vital issues of aging, the weight of memory, and the enduring power of human connection. Through imaginative puppetry and a soulful indie-folk score, it raises awareness of how we define our purpose when the foundations of our lives begin to change. While the spectacle is undeniably entertaining, the heart of the story encourages a dialogue about loyalty and the lengths we go to for the ones we love. Join us for a transformative evening that reminds us that even in the darkest nights, we are never truly lost.

Dance Nation by Clare Barron
Directed by Payten Romig
Production Dates: April 23–25 & April 29 – May 2, 2027
Audition Dates: February 28 & March 1, 2027

Prepare to witness the raw, unfiltered power of adolescence in Clare Barron’s Dance Nation, a Pulitzer Prize finalist that explodes onto the stage with ferocious energy and sharp humor. Somewhere in America, a competitive dance troupe of pre-teen girls claws their way toward a national championship, discovering the terrifying and transformative strength of their own bodies. This production addresses vital issues of female agency, the complexity of ambition, and the societal pressures placed on young people. By casting adult actors to portray these middle-schoolers, the play encourages a profound dialogue about how the ghosts of our past selves shape our present identities. It is a visceral, surreal, and deeply entertaining exploration that raises awareness of the resilience required to navigate the transition into adulthood. Join us for a theatrical experience that is as heart-wrenching as it is hilarious, demanding we look closer at the fire burning inside the next generation.

Octet Book, Music, and Lyrics by Dave Malloy
Directed by: Matt Eldred
Production Dates: June 4–6 & 10–13, 2027
Audition Dates: April 4 & 5, 2027

Experience the haunting beauty of the human voice in Octet, a groundbreaking “chamber choir musical” that explores our complex addiction to the digital world. Eight strangers gather in a basement for a support group meeting, sharing their struggles with internet obsession and the loss of connection through lush, intricate a cappella harmonies. This production addresses vital issues concerning mental health, the polarization of social media, and the search for spiritual meaning in a hyper-connected age. By stripping away instruments and focusing on raw vocal performance, Octet raises awareness of the noise that distracts us from our shared humanity. This innovative work encourages a necessary dialogue about how we reclaim our attention and empathy from the screens that dominate our lives. It is a transcendent and deeply entertaining musical event that challenges us to truly see one another again.
