Peppermint Creek Theatre Company has so much to celebrate and be joyful for during our 20th season! We are so proud of our long history of producing plays that speak to the human condition and create dialogue around current issues that we all face. And we are grateful for our wonderful family of supporters that make our theatre possible.
This season is doubly important to us as we have finally found a home at Stage One Performing Arts Center thanks to the bravery, vision, and creativity of Sycamore Creek Church at Eastwood. Sycamore Creek saw the need for an inclusive, accessible performing arts space in Lansing, and graciously invited us into their vision as they launched this exciting new venue. The chance for PCTC to “put down roots” in an affordable and permanent space is transformative and will benefit our company, and the arts in Lansing, in immeasurable ways.
We firmly believe in the power of theater to not only entertain but to shine a light into unfamiliar places. Yes, theater can move us to tears and can make us laugh but it can do more than that….
Theater inspires thought and creates dialogue.
Theater allows us to walk in someone else’s shoes for an evening.
Theater hands us a mirror to better see ourselves.
And theater helps us imagine a world we might strive toward.
Thank you for joining us on this journey as we continue to live into our passion statement to address vital issues in our society, raise awareness, and encourage dialogue while entertaining.
